Jenny Lou
Born in small town Sylvan Lake Alberta Canada, Jenny Lou has been singing her whole life. From singing into her hairbrush, to the Disney Stage in Anaheim California, to the Apollo in New York City, Jenny has already had so many incredible opportunities. While professionally trained in classical opera, Jenny is versatile in genre, focusing mainly on her true calling of country music. She has spent many hours singing in Church worship bands and for elders with Alzheimer’s. She has worked with many world renowned musicians such as Louise Rose, Daniel Lapp, and Kim McLean.
Tragically, on March 19th, 2018 her house burned down. After losing absolutely everything, aside from her guitar that had luckily been in her car, she graduated two months later earning her Diploma in Music Performance from The Victoria Conservatory of Music. She then hopped in her car and headed South to Music City. Now residing in Nashville Tennessee, she can be found singing at some of the most famous Honky Tonks in the world, touring with her band, songwriting on Music Row and playing various writers rounds around the city!
As Willie Nelson said, "The life I love is making music with my friends, and I can't wait to get on the road again".
"She is someone who could sing the phonebook and make it sound good" -Kim Mclean
